Local talented Portrait Specialist Tony Scott will teach you how to photograph people, creating poses to enhance your models characteristics. This workshop till focus on how to use natural lighting and on or off camera flash.
We guarantee you will master, how to improve your portrait photography skills in a few hours, in a small group with expert practical guidance.
The program:
We will meet at 4pm, feel free to talk to other attendees as they arrive. At 4:15pm the instruction portion of the workshop will begin.
This workshop is dedicated to getting you to take as many great shots as possible using natural light, fill flash, off camera flash & mixing flash with natural light. The most difficult lighting issues resolved. Essential for all photographers attempting to photograph people/portraits. We'll get straight into the action by posing a family & taking photos. You'll be directing the models and by the time we are done you'll know the best angles, where the best locations are and how to light it. This is an extremely hands on workshop, so be prepared to learn a lot more about your camera, lighting & posing. We aim to finish after sunset, but we won't stop until you have great images.
My name is Tony Scott and the whole time I will methodically explain what I'm thinking and how I am finding the correct exposure. I've fallen asleep during some photographers speeches so I'll make sure that this won't happen to you! Off camera flash can be intimidating and you might be a bit fearful. Don’t worry I've got tips and tricks that will show you just how simple it can be. Once you master off camera flash - you'll have so much confidence to tackle any project that comes your way. You'll be chomping at the bit to put these methods into practice to create stunning portraits for your own family, friends and/or clients. I promise that this will be fun, full of education & inspiration.

Digital SLR camera
Bring 1 to 3 lenses max - we'll be shooting anywhere in the 24-200 range but you could use just a single 50mm prime if you want.
